We Love Chocolate! Healthy Chocolate That Is!

chocolate fountainImage via Wikipedia
There are over 300,000 studies on the health benefits of dark chocolate, with a new study coming out every week. The problem is that most dark chocolate available for purchase by consumers has the health benefits negated because of the added sugars, milks, fats, waxes, fillers and caffeine.

MXI Corporation has patented a process called the "cold press technique" which allows them to manufacture rich Belgium dark chocolate, which they call XOCAI™ (sho-sigh), without heating or the harmful additions. The result is a chocolate food source that has amazingly high antioxidant levels and still tastes as good as the BEST chocolate you have ever had. It is even diabetic and vegan friendly, gluten free and no caffeine.

XOCAI™ qualifies for an ORAC score. ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity and is a method of measuring antioxidant capacities of various foods. Antioxidants are important because they fight the effects of free radicals in our bodies. Free radicals are atoms that are missing an electron and are constantly bombarding our bodies. One XOCAI™ chocolate nugget contains the antioxidant level of half pound of spinach. What would you rather eat?

Ninety percent of Americans crave chocolate-fifty percent say they cannot live without it and actually eat an average of 12 lbs per year. This is not candy, but a functional food that tastes like fine Belgium chocolate! XOCAI™ is Healthy Chocolate!

Dark Chocolate is Wonderful Medicine

Dark chocolate is a food with many health benefits. Yes, that's right, a health food. Let me explain the unique properties of dark chocolate and how it can really benefit your health! Now when I speak of dark chocolate, I mean just that, and not other chocolates which are filled with fat and calories. This is real unprocessed chocolate.

Antioxidants are part of healthy chocolate. You need antioxidants to a certain extent in your body to keep optimum health. The main antioxidant I am thinking of here is Cacao. Cacao contains a great number of antioxidants. It is very versatile in that it can lower your blood sugars, helps arthritis since it has an anti-inflammatory effect, and it is also a rich source of magnesium for the body.

The high ORAC score, known as Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity, is what cacao contains. This is what cleans the system of what is known as free radicals. Free radicals are what creates an environment in the body for diseases of many types.

Blood pressure and heart health can also be improved for many people consuming a steady diet of dark chocolate. Your cholesterol health, with a small daily consumption of dark chocolate is likely to improve as well, all due to rich antioxidants from Cacao.

Have depression problems? Chocolate may also help this problem a great deal. How does it help? Well, serotonin release, and endorphins are a response that is triggered from consumption. Serotonin is a brain chemical which plays a big role in our emotions, sleep, and memory. Endorphins are another chemical released from the brain which is our painkiller center. They are also a type of hormonal substance.

And lastly, chocolate can help you to lose unwanted pounds. Consumption of a small amount of chocolate between meals, helps to curb the appetite, and help other food cravings you may have. Thus, overeating is avoided, and likewise your weight is reduced, and therefore, you feel better!

Amazing Benefits of Raw Cacao, Raw Chocolate and Immune Stimulating Mushrooms

When it comes to eating various superfoods for a health benefit, you may be confused as to which superfoods to consume. Some super foods may have a potent taste that will need to be acquired by the person who is consuming that particular food.

However, one superfood that everyone will agree on is the consumption of sacred raw chocolate and raw cacao. In fact, for thousands of years, ancient Mayans, ancient Aztecs and Incans have known about the amazing healing properties of the chocolate and they have used them in their daily cultural rituals as well as in their healing habits.

In fact, the seeds of raw cacao were held to be so sacred, the legends has it that the Incans used Cocoa beans as money and the ancient Incans used it like gold bullion as they filled their treasury holds with tons of cocoa beans. Unfortunately, nowadays the positive benefit of this wonderful superfood is not known widely. Although, everyone enjoys chocolate, people do not consume it in its raw form for the maximum benefit that they can derive from it.

Some benefits of raw cacao and raw chocolate include:

*It acts as a stimulant, so that the energy level in your body will receive a boost and you will feel better about yourself. It can also help to reduce chronic fatigue and general weakness caused by stress. *Raw chocolate and raw cacao can help strengthen your cardiovascular system.

This special superfood helps to regulate your sleep.
*Most importantly, pure chocolate directly stimulates various neurotransmitters in your brain (such as serotonin) to help reduce depression and to give a sense of euphoria or a sense of well being. Hence, your mood will be uplifted and you will feel better about yourself.

*Raw chocolate has a very high ORAC quotient. ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity. This is an important property, as it denotes the ability to absorb free radicals from your body. This can be a very useful concept for helping you to protect your body from carcinogens and free radicals that cause cancer.

*Raw chocolate is also considered as a mild aphrodisiac as it has shown to increase sexual appetite after regular consumption. *Raw chocolate can also help stimulate your immune system.

Of course, it is important to eat in a raw and organic state, so that these benefits can be derived from it. If you are looking for an extra way to stimulate your immune system, then you can also eat Reiki mushrooms as a super food. This amazing mushroom also has the ability to strengthen your immune system so that you can fight infections and protect yourself from flu and other similar diseases.
